Transportation to and from the airport to downtown Halifax:

If you are looking to take a bus from the airport to Halifax you’ll need to take the MetroX 320 Airport/Fall River, at a cost of $4.25 cash for adults and $3 for children/seniors. Make sure you have the exact fare. This bus route will take passengers from the airport/Aerotech Park and the Fall River area to the downtown core and vice versa. The transit service does have a policy about bringing baggage on the bus – passengers must be able to store their luggage on the floor directly in front of them, on their lap, or on the overhead luggage rack. During peak tourist season (May 1 to October 31) Maritime Bus has a full-schedule shuttle that takes passengers from the airport to the Westin Hotel in downtown Halifax. The schedule is reduced during the off season. A return trip costs $40 per person, while one-way fares are $22 per person. Children under 12 ride free. For more information click here.
