Everyone who knows me knows I love to travel.
I caught the travel bug from my parents early in life. They love to visit new countries and explore new cultures and instilled that same passion in their children.
I’ve been to 25 countries, on five continents. As someone who’s a little type A, I’ve ended up being the ‘planner’ for most of those trips and am always eager to share tips with friends when they are mapping out adventures of their own.
While researching destinations, I’ve often wished I could find a site that would provide me with everything I need to know all in one spot. A place where I could learn about things like the top tourist spots, the lesser-known locations the locals frequent, what the weather’s like, what kind of clothes I should pack, what to be weary of, and where to get great food.
As much as I love to travel, I’m also enamored with the place I call home – Nova Scotia.
I got to thinking; why not share my wealth of knowledge about my home in the very format I’ve always searched for?
So I’ve found myself embarking on my latest adventure – compiling, what I hope will be, a go-to site for travel in the beautiful Atlantic Canadian province of Nova Scotia and, more specifically, the city of Halifax.
